Extend your cameras with even more flexible and capable time-in-area analytics for the Axis cameras. This analytics runs directly in the Axis IP cameras as an edge app and extends the functionality of the built-in AXIS Object Analytics use cases.
The FixedIT time in area analytics is compatible with Axis fisheye cameras. This provides a wide 360° view (top down) or 180° view (horizontally) while still being able to use the time in area analytics. This is a feature that is not supported in Axis fisheye cameras using the built-in analytics alone.
This makes the application valuable for basements, facade coverage, rooms with low ceiling height and transportation where loitering detection is needed to automate deterrence or notify operators or guards. While detection accuracy is not as good in a fisheye camera as in a "normal" camera, the result is often good enough to detect suspicious loitering or cars stopping in not-allowed places.
With the FixedIT application, not only can you trigger events and alarms when an object's time in area exceeds the allowed threshold. By configuring push metrics, you can get each track's time in area to your dashboard or systems.
This is valuable e.g. for retail where the effectiveness of a hero product can be measured based on how long time people are spending in the zone.
